What equipments are available for rental and what are the rates?

We rent motors, batteries, flotation devices, fishing nets, fishing rods.

Here are the rates:
Motor : 27$/day 110$/5 days
Motor and Battery : 49$/day 180$/5 days
Battery : 25$/day 90$/5 days
Flotation vest : 5$/day 18$/5 days
Fishing net : 4$/day 15$/5 days
Fishing rod : 10$/day 30$/5 days

These rates include taxes

Anchors are also available (no charge) with a refundable 30$ deposit per anchor.

Do we need a provincial fishing licence?

Yes, the fishing licence is mandatory in Quebec, for everyone who fishes, except for teenagers and kids who fish on their parents licence. An adult may also fish on the spouse’s licence but that would limit these two adults to one possession limit (quota) only.

What are the quotas? (or possession limit)

Daily fishing : 10 speckled trouts/adult

With a stay in a cottage or in the lodge (2 nights minimum): 10 speckled trouts and 5 rainbow trouts

With a stay in camping (2 nights minimum): 10 speckled trouts

For the speckled trout, you may eat some and return to catch more.
For the rainbow trout, it is 5 catches maximum for the whole stay.

No catch and release of the trouts is allowed at any time.

Where can we recharge the batteries for our electric motor?

Each cabin is equiped with 1 or 2 battery charger, depending on the cabin. In the Auberge, you will be assigned a locker which contains a battery charger.

What do we have to bring when we stay in a cabin? What is included?

The cabins include:

• kitchen with electric stove and refrigerator
• kettle
• coffee maker and filters
• toaster
• pots, dishes and utensils
• dish towels
• toilet paper
• garbage bags
• BBQ with propane gas (except winter)

All cabins have electricity and have a bathroom.
For the cabins with a woodstove, the wood in included.

The cabins are equiped with a battery charger, one or two depending on the cabin.

In the cabins, you have to bring :

• your beddings including pillows and pillow cases
• your bath towels and washcloths
• your drinking water

Some cabins are equiped with microwave, satellite television, wood fireplace or electric fireplace.

Are the cabins close to one another?

Are the other lakes far from the main site ?

All the lakes are accessible by car in about 5 to 10 minutes from the main site and auberge.
All you have to bring are your motor and battery and your fishing gear. The row boat is waiting for you at the dock.

Do you sell fishing licences and fishing tackle on the spot?

You will find for sale on the spot :

• provincial fishing and hunting licences
• worms
• Fishing tackle : lures, fishing line, fishing rod, bait snell hooks, fishing nets, fishing swivels, etc. We will also give you advice on what items have worked well in the days preceding your stay.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in starts at 4h00 pm and check-out is 12h00 (noon).

Are ATVs allowed on the site?

ATVs are not allowed on the site, but you will find ATV trails in the area, which you can get to with your trailer, for example: St-Come or St-Zénon, etc.

Are outdoor fires allowed?

Outdoor fires are not allowed at any time on the site. We wish to protect our forest.

Is there Wi-Fi on the site?

Free Wi-Fi is available at the hotel.

Is the cellular network available on the site?

Most cellular networks are available in some areas on the domaine, except Rogers, which there is no network in our area. The reception may be intermittent.

May my children use their own fishing licence?

Yes, they may, but if they want their own quota, they have to pay their fishing right, which is the adult rate.

Is the water drinkable?

The water on the site is not drinkable. However, you may use it for cooking, wash the dishes and even to brush your teeth, but we recommend you to don’t drink it unless you boil it first. You can buy gallons of spring water on the spot for only 2.50$ per gallon.

Is there a coffee maker in cabins?

Yes there is coffee maker with filter in every cabins. Filters are included. There are Keurig coffee maker in each rooms in the inn.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed in the cabins at the following cost: $30.00 per stay (plus taxes) for the first pet, and 15$ (plus taxes) each, for additional ones. Dogs have to be on a leash at all times when they are not inside the cabin, and they are not allowed at the beach or the terrace. No pets are allowed at the Auberge.

Do you eviscerate the trouts?

An evisceration building is available at all times. We do not offer the evisceration service, but a member of our staff will be happy to guide you if you need to learn how to do it.

Is it possible to bring our own Kayka or Paddle board?

No, you can’t bring your own. We have enough on site and it’s free. We don’t want to mix our water with water from other lakes.
